Description

CapCC Plugin for WordPress contains a flaw that allows a reflected and persistent cross-site scripting (XSS) attack. This flaw exists because the application does not validate the 'CAPCC_SECRET', 'CAPCC_LETTER_COUNT', 'CAPCC_FONTSIZE', 'CAPCC_LINES', 'CAPCC_COLOR_BG', 'CAPCC_WIDTH', 'CAPCC_HEIGHT', 'CAPCC_FONTFILE', 'CAPCC_MAX_ATTEMPTS', 'CAPCC_MAX_ERROR_ALLOWED', 'CAPCC_MAINTENANCE', 'CAPCC_PATH', and 'CAPCC_FORM' parameters upon submission to the capcc-config.php script. This may allow an attacker to create a specially crafted request that would execute arbitrary script code in a user's browser within the trust relationship between their browser and the server.
