Apple Mac OS X contains an unitialized memory access flaw related to the Sorenson Codec and CoreMedia that is triggered during the handling of a Sorenson Encoded movie file. This may allow a context-dependent attacker to potentially execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service.
Upgrade to version 10.8.2 or 10.7.5 or higher, as they have been reported to fix this vulnerability. In addition, Apple has released a patch for some older versions.
