HP Application Lifecycle Management contains a flaw that is triggered when a type confusion error occurs in the SetShapreNodeType() method in the XGO.ocx ActiveX control. This may allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code; also an error in the and an error in the CopyToFile() method may allow the attacker to overwrite arbitrary files.
