Description

Multiple Cisco Telepresence products contains a flaw that is triggered during the parsing of malformed Cisco Discovery Protocol (CDP) packets. This may allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code.

Solution

Upgrade Cisco TelePresence Recording Server to version 1.8.1 or higher, Cisco TelePresence Immersive Endpoint to 1.9.1 or higher, or Cisco TelePresence Manager and Cisco TelePresence Multipoint Switch to version 1.9.0 or higher, as they have been reported to fix this vulnerability. An upgrade is required as there are no known workarounds.
