Quicksilver Forums contains a flaw that may lead to an unauthorized information disclosure. The issue is triggered when automatic backups are enabled, which leads to predictable, world readable backups being created and potentially disclosing sensitive information to a remote attacker.

QSF Portal users can upgrade to version 1.5 or higher, as it has been reported to fix this vulnerability. An upgrade is required as there are no known workarounds.
