Description

FileZilla FTP Server 0.9.21 and earlier are vulnerable to a NULL pointer dereference condition resulting in a Denial of Service.

Technical

By specifying a malformed PORT command with a wildcard mask, then requesting a binary transfer to the malformed port, results in an access violation on a NULL pointer.

Solution

Upgrade to version 0.9.22 or higher, as it has been reported to fix this vulnerability. An upgrade is required as there are no known workarounds.
