tsworks is a Japanese SMTP/POP3 mail server for Microsoft Windows operating systems. tsworks version 3.0 is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by a boundary error in the "Expand the Attachment" function. A remote attacker could send an email with an attachment containing a long string to overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system.

Upgrade to version 3.1 or higher, as it has been reported to fix this vulnerability. An upgrade is required as there are no known workarounds.
