Description
Cacti contains a flaw that may allow an attacker to carry out an SQL injection attack. The issue is due to the 'config_settings.php' script not properly sanitizing user-supplied input to the 'id' variable. This may allow an attacker to inject or manipulate SQL queries in the back-end database.

Solution
Upgrade to version 0.8.6f or higher, as it has been reported to fix this vulnerability. An upgrade is required as there are no known workarounds.
The vulnerabilities were originally fixed in version 0.8.6e. However, it is reportedly possible to bypass the added security checks via a specially crafted combination of GET and POST/COOKIE data.
