Description

MaraDNS contains an out-of-bounds read flaw in the Deadwood resolver that is triggered when handling a specially crafted recursive query. This may allow an authenticated remote attacker to cause a denial of service.

Solution

It has been reported that this issue has been fixed. Upgrade to version 2.0.09 or 1.4.14 of MaraDNS and version 3.2.05 or 2.3.09 of Deadwood, to address this issue.
