Red Hat Certificate System contains a flaw related to the certificate authority's failure to require authentication for requests to decrypt SCEP one-time PINs. The issue is triggered when a remote attacker sniffs the network for SCEP requests and then sends decryption requests. This may allow an attacker to obtains PINs.

Currently, there are no known workarounds or upgrades to correct this issue. However, Red Hat has released a patch to address this vulnerability.
