Sun Management Console contains a flaw that may lead to an unauthorized information disclosure. The issue is triggered when error messages are generated for documents outside of the server root, which will disclose file information resulting in a loss of confidentiality.

Currently, there are no known workarounds or upgrades to correct this issue. However, Sun has released a patch to address this vulnerability in Solaris 9. There is no patch or workaround available for Solaris 8.
