<em style='font-weight:bold;'>(Description Provided by <a href="http://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=2008-0492" target="_blank">CVE</a>)</em> : Stack-based buffer overflow in the Persits.XUpload.2 ActiveX control in XUpload.ocx 3.0.0.4 and earlier in Persits XUpload 3.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a long argument to the AddFile method. Currently, there are no known upgrades or patches to correct this vulnerability. It is possible to correct the flaw by implementing the following workaround: set the kill-bit on the XUpload.ocx ActiveX Control <E87F6C8E-16C0-11D3-BEF7-009027438003>.
