Description

The ed text editor on Sun Solaris contains a flaw that may allow a malicious user to overwrite or create files. The issue is due to ed creating insecure temporary files. It is possible that the flaw may allow a malicious user to overwrite important system files resulting in a loss of confidentiality, integrity, and/or availability.
