Junos contains a flaw that may allow a remote denial of service. The issue is triggered when crafted IPv6 packets are repeatedly sent to the router. Memory that is reserved for these packets will not be freed after the packet has been handled, which will result in loss of availability for the platform. Note that this vulnerability affects all M-series, T-series and J-series routers that are running releases of Junos Internet Software built prior to May 10, 2006.
