Description

Debian Linux sendmail contains a flaw that may allow a malicious user to relay email. It is possible that the flaw may allow the sendmail installation to be used as for sending spam resulting in a loss of integrity.

For users of the stable version (woody) upgrade to 8.12.3-7.1 or higher, as it has been reported to fix this vulnerability. For users of the unstable version (sid) 8.13.1-13 or higher as this has been reported to fix this vulnerability. An upgrade is required as there are no known workarounds.
